We value you as a client and realize that your satisfaction is crucial to earning your future business and your referrals.
An important part of establishing long-term relationships with our clients begins with good communications, so please allow us to explain some special circumstances of doing business in the green industry.
Plants are living and require maintenance and care to a varying degree. Once we have installed your landscape, you will have responsibility for the continued health and vigor of the plants. Maintaining your new landscape is not difficult. Upon completion of your project we will give you a Plant Maintenance Guide. Simply refer to our tips and if you have any questions please call. Equally important, please call us immediately upon observing symptoms of plant decline, including wilting, leaf or needle drop, discoloration of leaves or woody stems, insect infestation, etc. This allows us to quickly determine possible causes of plant stress and recommend solutions.
If you wish to keep your landscape looking its best and do not have the time or knowledge to devote to plant care, please consider our Basic Landscape Maintenance Services or we can custom-design a plan to suit your needs and preferences. |
LIMITED WARRANTY: Scenic Specialties, Inc., guarantees all installed plant material, sodding, seeding, and workmanship, subject to the following conditions:
- Contractor warrants all labor and material for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion of work, unless otherwise stated or an Extended Warranty is purchased. This limited standard warranty extends only to Customer and is not transferable.
- Contractor will provide replacements as stated above on a one-time basis only at the request of the Customer, at no charge to the Customer except for supportive materials deemed necessary (soil amendments and drainage, for example) and labor. Please note, however, that Contractor is not liable under this limited standard warranty for actual or consequential damages resulting from “acts of God,” excessive weather conditions (extreme cold/drought, etc.), soil conditions, abuse, vandalism, insufficient/improper watering, poor drainage, salt damage, herbivorous animals, insect damage or disease, plants supplied by Contractor and installed by Customer, plants supplied by Customer and installed by Contractor, pre-existing plants relocated by Contractor or Customer, plants installed by Contractor and relocated by Customer or any other factors beyond the control of the Contractor.
- Annuals and Aquatic plants do not carry any warranty.
- Any warranties given by manufacturers pertaining to materials used by Contractor in with the project will be passed through and inure to the benefit of Customer.
- There is neither implied warranty of merchantability nor any implied warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
- There are no warranties either express or implied beyond the description within this section.
- Warranties will not be honored or in effect unless Contractor has been paid in full for said amount of contract.
- Contractor offers a 100% guarantee on turf establishments for its installations; however, the Company requires that seeding and sodding be completed in season with a variety Contractor decides suits the environment the best.
- Contractor also guarantees all parts and workmanship of its installed irrigation systems and outdoor lighting for one (1) year from installation completion.
- Under no circumstances will Contractor refund money in lieu of our warranty(ies).
